Lemont, IL – Village of Lemont Trustee announced today he would not seek re-election to his seat on the Village of Lemont Village Board as a trustee in the 2021 election.
This announcement is truly bittersweet for me: I will not be a candidate for Village Trustee in the Village of Lemont in the 2021 election.
Serving the Village of Lemont has always been a dream of mine. It has been an extraordinary honor (and a dream come true) to have served the citizens of the Village of Lemont initially as a Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission for over 4 years, then after that as a Village Trustee on the Village of Lemont Board for 4 years. Words can’t express how grateful I am to family, friends, and supporters in helping me achieve this dream. To my fellow Trustees (Stapleton, Sniegowski, McClafferty, Kittridge, and Maher), Village Clerk Smollen, and Mayor Egofske, it has been an absolute pleasure serving with you and I can confidently say through collaboration with one another, we’ve been impactful in bettering the community of Lemont.
I look forward to watching the Village of Lemont continue to prosper as a destination community, the next great destination in Illinois and the Midwest.
