The King has Returned

“We just want our respect. Rob wants his respect. Coach Vogel wants his respect. Organization wants their respect. Lakers Nation wants their respect. And I want my damn respect, too.” – LeBron James

I’ll be honest with you, I had this blog ready to go Friday thinking the Los Angeles Lakers would end the Miami Heat in 5 games. But Mr. Why did the Bulls trade him away? Jimmy Bulter gave us the Leo Corso “Not so Fast. My Friend” dropping 35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, plus five steals. Overshadowing the spectacular performance of 40 points, 13 Rebounds, and 7 assists by LeBron James while wearing the undefeated Black Mamba jerseys 4-0. Bulter is a BADDDDDMAAANNN on an up and coming Miami Heat team…so watch out KD and the Nets. That’s enough praise for Jimmy Buckets and now it’s time to talk about the man or should I say the King of the hour…LeBron James!

Get ready cause here comes all the haters and all the excuses! “This season doesn’t count, they were in a bubble, the Heat weren’t healthy, still 2 championship behind Michael Jordan, LBJ’s final record is still terrible, he needs another superstar to win…” Shut your pie holes! And maybe start appreciating what we are watching…GREATNESS. The King has taken over the playoff record book: No. 1 in points, steals, field goals, triple doubles, and free throws. LeBron wrapped up the 2020 NBA Finals averaging 25 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2 blocks, and 1.3 steals. This man is in his 16th NBA season and is still the best overall player in the league! If you take the best player in the league and give him more motivation in the offseason by not making playoffs last year, coming off an injury, the loss of Kobe (RIP Mamba), kicking Lonzo and his goofball of a dad out of the city and trading for Anthony Davis…you can’t stop that. LeBron looked absolutely incredible and some may say this is the best he’s ever looked. Stronger, more aggressive, determined, and even faster. There was only one thing faster than LeBron during the bubble and that was how quickly J.R. Smith pops his shirt off after game 6. As soon as the scoreboard hit zero a shirtless J.R. comes flying onto the court to celebrate with his teammate. I guess this was so inspiring to some of the Lakers that Alex Caruso, Kyle Kuzma, and Dwight Howard showed up to the post game interviews shirtless. Also, how was JR the first Laker to grab the Larry O’Brien trophy with playing 0 minutes in games 4 – 6? The only player that would be less deserving but also a huge power move would’ve been Dion Waiters!

Listen up haters and especially you Skip & Paul Pierce, you scumbags! The King has returned to claim his rightful throne back on top of the NBA with not one, not two, not three, but now his four NBA Championships and Finals MVP! Suck it! Oh Bronny just a heads up HIDE cause the King has left the bubble to come whip that ass for tokin some reefer on IG Live!
